Coding is a modern literacy. Students who learn to program get better at breaking big problems into small steps, a skill that helps in math, science and beyond.
Megamind Learning Centre's coding program in Toronto moves students from visual block coding to text-based languages such as Python, at a pace that suits their age and experience.
Students build real projects each term, including games, quizzes and web pages, and present them to classmates. Instructors give individual guidance in small groups.
